ABR Return to Play
Waiver and Covid Screening Form IncludedUpdatedSaturday October 3, 2020 byBeth Jones.
ABR is excited that baseball will soon be returning to Arlington as our community phases back activities. Consistent with our commitment both to safeguarding players’, families, and volunteers’ safety and to promoting the public health of our community, ABR will slowly phase back baseball activities, beginning with our oldest players and continuing down the line to our younger players.
We expect that teams in AAA and Majors (representing kids between the ages of 8 and 12), will have the opportunity to sign up for small group practices in June and to play a limited game schedule between July 6 and July 26 or perhaps August 2.
Once we phase those age groups back to the diamond, we will assess our ability to safely phase our younger players back into baseball in a way that ensures that it will be a fun and positive experience. All players, families, spectators, coaches, umpires and other volunteers will be required to adhere to ABR’s and Arlington County’s Return to Play policies, which are available through the attachments linked below. Also linked below is an updated waiver to play during this summer season.
Thank you for your patience as we sort through the unprecedented circumstance in which we find ourselves. It is our hope to see all of you back out on the diamond soon.
